First I had no idea you could make a shake with sweet potatoes, and that in 10 minutes you could make it better!
Not only are there great shakes (pecan pie my personal favorite!) but there are great tips on fillers for a quick meal always needed in my home that are still whole foods.

This is exactly what I was looking for. She explains dessert thickies (smoothies), gives info about essential equipment, ingredients and how to prepare them properly. Each recipe in the book serves 2 people. But the best part of this ebook is the recipes. They are just plain awesome! Dessert thickie recipes like strawberry shortcake, peanut butter cookie, pineapple upside down cake... plus these smoothies really taste like dessert because they are not just "smoothies". They include protein and other filling ingredients, making them truly taste like a well rounded dessert and these thickies truly are a whole meal in a cup!

Great smoothie recipes without artificial ingredients
I love smoothies, but I don't love the idea of all the additives in protein powders that seem to always be in the recipe list for smoothies. Not so with this smoothie recipe book. She gives you recipes and also options for making your own smoothies (or thickies as she calls them BC they are so thick). The dessert part is from fruit and spices that mimic the flavors of different desserts. I also have her book Green Thickies. The two are similar and both are worth trying.
These recipes are fantastic!
If you never tasted blended desserts, you are in for a real treat. The book is short and sweet - getting straight to the point of preparing delicious and healthy concoctions. Most of the recipes can be prepared in 5-10 minutes tops (and that includes cleanup!). I sometimes make them really thick (to be eaten with a spoon) and chill them in the fridge; or dilute them with more liquid - so my son can drink them with a straw. It would be difficult to pick the favorite. Definitely try the cherry pie, apple pie and blueberry pie. I still have to try pecan pie and mango cobbler. Definitely recommended!
