I was looking for more than a quick fix or a diet book. I wanted to make lifelong changes.
This happened for me when I got so sick that I could barely move and doctors didn’t know what was wrong with me.
I was fascinated by health, but when I recovered from my sickness with more energy than I’d ever had in my life I decided I wanted to pay it forward and help other people feel the same way.
I read literally hundreds of books on health in a very short space of time and I want to shortcut that learning so you don’t have to do that.
I wanted to create a program that would help people take small steps towards lifelong, sustainable changes.
Although I have always been into healthy eating and fitness, I struggled with my weight my whole life. I also have advanced osteoarthritis in most of my joints. Back in my 40's when it hit my 2nd set of joints I questioned many doctors about the possibility of a systemic cause and they all said "it just happens, it is very common" so I lived with it.
I adopted a 13 year-old when I was 50 (our only child) and my stress levels sky rocketed as I tried to manage a demanding career and a child who needed a lot of emotional support, unconditional love and non-traditional parenting approaches.
My weight climbed to an all-time high and self-care went out the window – who had time or energy left for that?
I was drinking wine every night (a few glasses) and overeating carbs along with my healthier foods.
Fast forward a few years, I could barely walk as the pain in my feet was so bad. I literally couldn’t grocery shop and cook in the same day – too much standing.
One evening my daughter wanted me to take her shopping at the mall, and my body was SO done for day I had to say “sorry sweetheart, I just can’t.”
She was frustrated and responded with “You know you are going to be in a golf cart in 3 years!”
While it was like a slap in my face, she was right and that was my wake up call.
I did my research, found out about functional medicine, got a great doc and discovered the foods that were fueling my inflammation and pain and foods that could help.
I lost 60 pounds, have kept it off over 3 years and am fit and functional!
I became passionate about helping others learn there IS A WAY.
That is when I decided to pursue a career as a Health Coach.
I received my integrative health coaching training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) where I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories.
I combine my training from IIN, my own personal experience with healthy transformation, and my belief that almost everyone has the power to optimize their own health to provide my clients with a caring, sensitive, and supportive environment as they regain their health and well-being.
Also I am a real foodie and love to cook so it’s important to me that all my meals are tasty. No doubt you feel the same - which is why I bring you only the best tastiest meals, that don’t just taste good but they will transform your health!

How quickly will I see results and how quickly will I reach my ideal weight?
Let’s be honest here…. Fast acters will see fast results almost immediately. But if you join Clean Green Coaching but take no action then you won’t get any results. We will hold you accountable but you still have to take action yourself. We don’t have a magic wand we can wave so you can lose weight and carry on eating the food you once ate. Things will need to change.
But the great news is that you can lose 5-10 pounds in the first 2 weeks and then you can expect to lose 1-2 pounds a week on average per week after that depending on how committed you are. So by the end of 6 weeks - not only will you look significantly slimmer, but you’ll have all the tools you need to continue your healthy habits and reach your ideal weight.
It depends how much weight you have to lose as to how quickly it comes off, but I did manage to lose about 50 pounds of weight in just a few months and reach my ideal weight in 6 months.

I don't like to cook, will I have to cook all my meals?
No you absolutely don’t have to cook all your meals. You can spend as much or as little time as you like in the kitchen. I personally only spend 30-60 minutes per day in the kitchen to make a whole day’s worth of clean healthy food for my entire family. We make it extremely easy for you, the recipes are quick, easy and still delicious - and we also give you some pretty amazing shortcuts you can take to drastically cut your time in the kitchen. And if you don’t like to cook at all, there are some great, fast options for preparing your own clean food without any cooking at all.
Will it work for me if I have food intolerances?
Yes absolutely! We provide so many different meal plans for special diets that are also very easily customisable. So you don’t have to worry about us giving you a very strict meal plan. There is lots of flexibility for you to choose the meals that suit you the best.All of our meals are gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free and are based on real healthy whole foods.
Why can’t I just go on a diet myself?
Of course you can choose to go on a diet yourself. But in my experience, the mindset that people have when they go on a diet is completely different to the mindset you have when you sign up for coaching.
Those on a diet want a quick easy fix, they want to lose a few pounds in the short term but they don’t really want to make any major changes. They want to carry on eating the same old foods and know they’re not really committed to the diet.
