Here is another great dairy free milk recipe for you. My first homemade milk was this Almond Milk which I really enjoyed, but as soon as I tasted this homemade Coconut Milk recipe I was blown away. It’s so sweet, creamy and delicious and I knew I had found my favourite milk.
Another important reason for me to settle on this coconut milk recipe was that it’s much cheaper for me to buy Dried Coconut in bulk than it is to buy almonds in bulk. So that was settled, my new favourite milk was decided. I just love it when I finally get my staple recipes sorted and I can finally end the search for a good recipe. How to make Coconut Milk
This coconut milk recipe is a substitute for dairy milk. So it’s got pretty much the same consistency as full fat dairy milk. This means it’s great on cereal, in smoothies and just as a drink in it’s own right. It’s not as thick as the creamy coconut milk that you get in a can. I’ve just about perfected my thick and creamy coconut milk recipe but I’ll be sharing that one at a later date.
