How to make Homemade Vegetable Broth

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Onions Roughly Chopped
  • 2 Celery Sticks Roughly Chopped
  • 1 Carrot Roughly Chopped
  • 1 Leek Roughly Chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic Peeled and roughly chopped
  • 2 Bay Leaves (Optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley (Or a small bunch fresh roughly chopped: Optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 1.2 l Water Or 4-5 Cups of Water

Instructions
 

  • Add all the ingredients to a large pan or stock pot.
  • Bring to the boil and simmer for 1 hour
  • Strain through a metal sieve. The liquid is your vegetable broth that you can use for soups and other recipes. You can compost the remaining vegetables.
