Strawberry Chia High Protein Smoothie Bowl

This smoothie bowl is less than 500 calories. It contains 16.6 grams of protein, with 70 percent of your daily dietary fiber. This recipe is rich with vitamin A, C, calcium, and iron.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup milk of plant based milk I suggest soy
  • 3 tsp maple syrup date syrup or raw honey
  • 1 whole banana cut into slices for garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons Almond slivers
  • ½ cup Cantaloupe

Instructions
 

  • Add the strawberries, pineapple, milk, syrup, and 1.5 tablespoons or almonds and 1.5 tablespoons of chia to the blender.
  • Blend all ingredients until smooth.
  • Pour smoothie into a bowl.
  • Garnish with the banana, remaining chia seeds and remaining almonds
  • Using your cookie cutter, cut out hearts from your cantaloupe using a mini heart cookie cutter. Place carefully on top of your smoothie bowl.
