Method
- Pit the dates by making a slit down one side and removing the stone. Add the dates to the water in a bowl. Cover and leave it in the fridge. Leave it at least 24 hours and stir it a few times whenever you remember. The dates dissolve in the water and produce a syrup that can be used to replace any other type of syrup or liquid sweetener.
- If you need this date syrup more quickly, you can always blend it, but you may need to increase the quantity and use a high speed blender.
