Banana Peanut Butter Green Thickie Recipe (Vegan, Raw, Real food only)

Once you taste this Green Thickie recipe, you’ll never want another breakfast again. I get told time and time again that when people make this recipe, they stop trying out new recipes.  This is the ONE!  I have already published this recipe previously, but I have now created the video to go with this recipe so you can see just how quick and easy it is to make your new breakfast.

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients into your blender in the order listed. (I used this blender in my demonstration).  If you don’t have a high speed blender or you are using frozen ingredients, you may need to blend a couple of ingredients at a time.
  • Blend until smooth (or as smooth as your blender will allow.  High speed blenders may need 2 minutes for a Green Thickie, less powerful blenders may need a lot more, sometimes 5-10 minutes)
  • Transfer into a mason jar for drinking. (I like these cute jars with handles)

Notes

  • Add more water if required to thin it out.
  • If your smoothie is too warm, you can cool it down in the fridge or freeze some of your ingredients before blending.
  • You can also replace half of the liquids with ice.  Add the ice at the end. It is better to add frozen ingredients at the end to cool the smoothie down.
How much should I drink to replace a meal?
This Green Thickie serves 2 so you should DRINK HALF OF THIS RECIPE.
