After a very long 9 months my baby is finally here! Little Q was born just over a week ago and we are all doing fine. My waters broke when I was 3 days overdue and I started to get very nervous as my first labour only lasted 3 hours, so it was a mad dash to the hospital which is thankfully just round the corner. However this little baby was quite content and stayed in for another 2 days until I was induced and he was coming out whether he liked it or not.
The labour wasn’t too nice but it was only 5 hours and thankfully Little Q was healthy when he was born. However afterwards he was too tired to feed properly for a few days and his weight plummeted, but now he’s back on track and has regained his birth weight and more, so we can breathe a sigh of relief.

He’s on quite an intense feeding schedule to help him put on weight and has been feeding every 2-3 hours around the clock which has been really exhausting. He’ll probably wake up very soon so I’m going to make this post quite short.
Life has been absolutely crazy with 2 children. People keep telling me I’ll get used to it but it’s so intense with one or both of them needing something every second of the day and that’s with my husband here on paternity leave too. I’m very nervous about him going back to work on Monday as I’m not sure how I’m going to be able to coordinate meeting everyone’s needs at the same time. But I’m not the first person to have to cope with 2 young children so it must be possible somehow! Ha ha.
We are feeling so blessed to have our little boy join our family and my little girl who is not yet 2 years old absolutely loves him to pieces. She is so helpful and loves to cuddle him. It makes me so nervous though having a boisterous toddler around such a tiny baby but I’m sure we’ll all relax a bit more eventually.
I have some great bloggers doing some amazing guest posts for me during this crazily hectic time for me. I’m going to continue to do my Healthy Vegan Fridays posts every week, and I’m looking forward to being able to share more about my diet and planned weight loss in another post and getting back to sharing some great green thickie recipes with you soon.
Thank you all for your patience during this frantic time of life for me, and I apologise if I’ve not answered your email, comment or facebook message but if you are desperate for an answer try again and let me know that you’ve previously not received an answer and I’ll do my very best to make it a priority. I’ve had quite a tiring pregnancy so I’ve not been blogging as I would have liked but as soon as things settle down with my babies (and I’m really hoping things will) I’ll be writing more posts and be answering more of your queries.

Get results like this...
Hi Katherine,I just wanted to tell you I completed the 7 day detox and I feel so great.
I have lost 6lbs, do not feel like I need more my morning coffee, the flushing of my facial skin from rosacea has dramatically reduced and I am so excited to wake up each morning and make a green thickie for breakfast!!
I am a stay at-home, homeschooling momma of 3 littles and at times so busy I would forget to feed myself!
I would go most of the day without eating and then snack on random things.
I gained 60 pounds the last 6 years during pregnancy.
I have lost 30lbs but recently plateaued and have felt so frustrated.
I’ve tried everything from paleo and keto to the point where I didn’t know what to eat or how much and felt like even eating fruit was bad for me which thankfully it’s not!
What a game changer for me. Thank you for sharing a simple but effective program.
I’m so excited to continue another week with this plan! Thankful Stephanie

Well a HUGE congratulations to you and your family!! Such an exciting time. Our first is a girl and second a boy too. So fun! You look great. Wow. And your son is just so adorable. Love is his name.
I remember those first few months adjusting to TWO children. What was different? I could not be a hermit inside the house all the time with the second. My daughter had music class, play dates, swim class, etc. So Ethan got used to going out about about and nursing everywhere. It’s so fun though. As I type both my kids (now 4 and 7) are playing with play-dough together and having a great time. I love it.
Enjoy these precious moments with your newborn. And thank you for sharing these great pictures.
Big hugs,
-Amber
