Today I’m explaining Why You might be struggling to Eat Your 5 A Day (And The EASY SOLUTION) that will help you eat 5, 10 or even 15 portions of fruit a day, which will definitely change your life.
Here’s some of the reasons why people don’t manage to eat their 5 a day:
- They fill up on their meals and aren’t hungry enough to eat fruit in addition to what they’re already eating
- Eating fruit IN ADDITION to what they’re normally eating will lead to weight gain. This is because most people already eat too many calories each day and adding even more calories (even if they are healthy calories) will still lead to even more weight piling on.
- Eating fruit AFTER a meal can lead to digestive problems because fruit digests faster than any other food and it gets stuck behind slower digesting foods, leading to fermentation which causes bloating and gas
- Most people really don’t want to eat extra fruit because they are craving something with refined sugar. Most savory meals contain refined sugar which actually causes refined sugar cravings. This is why, after a meal, most people fancy a cake or a cookie because their taste buds and addiction centers in the brain have already been hyper stimulated by all the processed and chemical laden foods. When you eat chemicals – you just crave more chemicals.
- Most people are bored with fruit, they buy standard fruit like bananas and apples but are so bored of the taste of them that they never actually eat them. They aren’t sure how to prepare more exotic and tasty varieties of fruit, or how to make delicious fruit recipes.
- Most people are eating unripe fruit and they aren’t sure how to ripen their fruit properly so it actually tastes good. Unripe fruit also causes digestive problems.
- People wrongly assume that preparing fruit takes too long, and opt for the factory foods instead.
- People buy the packaged pre-chopped fruit as a snack, which is expensive and disgusting and they don’t want to waste their money on something that costs the earth and tastes horrible – and rightly so.
- Fruit can be expensive. Once you’ve bought all of your other groceries, buying enough fruit to enable you, or even your whole family to eat 5 a day can really push your grocery bills sky high if you don’t know what you’re doing.
- People are confused into inaction. There is so much negative talk about fruit these days that people don’t know what to believe. And as they believe eating fruit is too difficult, they don’t eat any fruit at all, because they are worried about the high sugar content. But then they binge on a packet of cookies instead…
