Yes, making bread that’s healthy and gluten-free is really no small feat.
If you know anything about gluten, you’ll know that it gives bread it’s lovely texture and chew. It’s what makes bread so delicious.
But, gluten is also a protein that’s so difficult on your digestive system and one of the most common food allergens.
And with my recent Celiac disease diagnosis, I make sure to stay as far away from gluten as possible!
But, even if you’re not officially diagnosed with a gluten sensitivity, there are plenty of good reasons to avoid it at all costs.

Gluten is a pretty big gut irritant, responsible for a whole array of nasty digestive issues, like leaky gut syndrome and inflammation. It can also cause autoimmune reactions and give you brain fog and tons of skin issues.
Sound pretty awful, right?
So, now that I’ve shared all of the bad news about gluten, you might be wondering if I might be able to come up with a silver lining for today’s post?
And the answer is, I do have some good news as well.

All of these recipes are made with healthy ingredients and offer the perfect nostalgic bite for us, bread lovers.
And especially now in the colder days, I just can’t imagine eating my warm stews and soups without a piece of homemade bread to soak up all of that deliciousness. Gluten free, of course!
So, if you’re trying to stay away from gluten (which I highly recommend!), yet you find yourself missing the comfort of bread, I have created a list with 10 of the best gluten-free recipes to put your craving at ease.
10 Best Gluten Free Vegan Bread Recipes
A quick and easy pumpkin bread, featuring grain-free buckwheat flour and rich Fall spices.
A delicious gluten-free, vegan bread alternative, free from yeast and xantham gum too. Works well with soup or as an open sandwich.
~Trinity, TRINITY’S KITCHEN
Urad Dal Lentils made into a batter and baked to make a soft flavorful nutritious bread.
~Richa, VEGAN RICHA
This yeast raised bread is safe for nearly every diet. It’s crusty exterior and soft center will make you feel like you are eating an artisan loaf. The recipe might sound intensive due to its number of steps, but I assure you it comes together with minimal effort. Most of the time spent is waiting for the bread to rise. It is important to let the bread cool completely before slicing. This allows the bread to finish cooking inside. Cutting it early will result in a gummy undercooked interior.

Super easy gluten free flatbread – made with only six ingredients! Grain Free + Vegan
~Sarah, A SAUCY KITCHEN
This sandwich bread though… it’s hard to believe it’s gluten-free, vegan/egg-free, soy-free, sesame free, and nut-free. It has a nice crust, a crusty bread I love to pair with a hearty soup or stew. The inside of the bread is moist, with a tight crumb. It’s perfect for sandwiches, and lasts 2-3 days at room temperature, stored in an air tight container.
~Megan, ALLERGY FREE ALASKA
This is perfect gluten and egg free bread for toasting and slathering nondairy butter and jam all over it.
~Cara, FORK & BEANS
The bread will be a little gummy hot out of the oven so be sure to let it cool a bit before cutting into it. Slice it and serve with a good quality olive oil for dipping. It is also delicious spread with either almond butter or hummus!
~Alissa, NOURISHING MEALS
It’s soft yet sturdy and has a rich, full flavor. It makes great toast, sandwiches, and probably most other things you’d like to do with bread.
~Meghan, WHOLE NATURAL LIFE
Fluffy, delicious sandwich bread that’s easy to make, but best of all, gluten-free and vegan too!

Get results like this...Hi Katherine,
I just wanted to tell you I completed the 7 day detox and I feel so great.
I have lost 6lbs, do not feel like I need more my morning coffee, the flushing of my facial skin from rosacea has dramatically reduced and I am so excited to wake up each morning and make a green thickie for breakfast!!
I am a stay at-home, homeschooling momma of 3 littles and at times so busy I would forget to feed myself!
I would go most of the day without eating and then snack on random things.
I gained 60 pounds the last 6 years during pregnancy.
I have lost 30lbs but recently plateaued and have felt so frustrated.
I’ve tried everything from paleo and keto to the point where I didn’t know what to eat or how much and felt like even eating fruit was bad for me which thankfully it’s not!
What a game changer for me. Thank you for sharing a simple but effective program.
I’m so excited to continue another week with this plan! Thankful Stephanie
