I have experimented with yoga quite a few times in my life, but for some reason I just couldn’t get the habit to stick.
I used to be a really high energy person who had to be leaping, bounding and doing high energy workouts, running from one place to another, working hard and playing hard.
Well do you know what happened to me?
I burned out!
Not just once but 3 times…

I experienced debilitation chronic fatigue syndrome for the 3rd time and finally it is a wake up call for me to slow down, relax more and calm myself.
So what better way to do that than by doing yoga.
Funnily enough I am now really loving my yoga and won’t go a single day without it.
I have learned my lesson now. If I don’t do my 10 minute yoga every morning, I start the day stressed out and it goes downhill from there.
If you’ve never tried yoga before I urge you to give these a try for 30 days and you are going to really notice the difference.
And if you have already tried yoga, you might just find that doing 10 minutes a day really gives you the passion you need to continue with this life changing practice.
The only thing you need to do yoga is a yoga mat. I love this one because it’s extra thick so you’re not going to hurt your knees, and it’s eco friendly too!
I also love to take my mat outside and practice yoga in the garden when the weather is nice. It makes a massive difference doing these routines in the fresh air. You will really feel alive and at one with nature.
And yoga is really good for helping you lose weight. Despite being more more gentle on the joints than aerobics, it’s actually great at building muscle which is the best thing you can do for exercise if you’re trying to lose weight.
