When most people start a new healthy eating plan and they want to shift a few pounds, there’s something they forget to do right away that makes all the difference to their long term success on that plan.

There are five different things that I have all of my clients do before they start one of my healthy eating plans and because this or this a high portion lose a lot of weight initially and they continue to do so.

When you start a new healthy eating plan, this is what I want you to do first.
I want you to track your progress by, first of all, taking a photo of yourself, a before photo.
So that you can have a before and after photo to compare with each other and you can really see, visually, how much you’ve changed.
I want you to weigh yourself.
It’s not always an accurate indication but it still can be an indication and it definitely will be eventually.
Unless, of course, you’re doing loads of exercise and building massive amounts of muscle.
You can also take measurements of your body.
This is an accurate way of showing that you are getting slimmer.
If you take measurements of your thighs, your arms, your chest, your stomach, and your waist, then write down how you are feeling mentally and also how you are feeling physically.
If you are struggling with a low mood, and you’re feeling moody, and just fed up and you’re tired and bloated, then write all that down because you will really notice the difference.
Sometimes it’s easy to forget just how bad you were feeling before.
The final way is, using a body fat percentage measurer, like scales or there’s different ways of measuring your body fat percentage.
It’s not essential, and sometimes it doesn’t work accurately, but still it can be a good way to see it going down over time.
Write all that down and you are going to be so surprised how amazing you look and feel after removing junk food from your daily diet for just one week.
These kind of measures of progress can be very motivating for some people but …
