Today, I am talking about seven little known benefits of gelatin.

What is gelatin?
Now, gelatin can be found in meat, animal products, and you can also buy it in a powdered form, so it is an animal product.
At the end, I’ll explain the best places to buy gelatin because not all gelatin is created the same.
What are the seven amazing benefits of gelatin?
Number one, it helps the body to produce more glutathione.
Now, glutathione is really good for removing excess oestrogen from the body that can come from toxic sources so it really helps you to improve your energy.
Number two, it can help you recover more quickly from adrenal fatigue.
Now, a lot of us are suffering from adrenal fatigue without even knowing it.
If you experience stress on a daily basis, then you are probably suffering from adrenal fatigue without even knowing it.
I have just had severe adrenal fatigue and this is why I’m starting to, among other things, I am eating more daily gelatin in my diet and I definitely am feeling better everyday so it is definitely working.
What gelatin does is it provides you with more minerals and amino acids that you need to help your body to recover more quickly from adrenal fatigue.
Number three, it’s also amazing for weight loss and removing cellulite because it improves the condition of the skin so it balances out the cellulite and it helps you lose weight because it helps you to feel fuller for longer and stops you craving and snacking on all those junk food snacks so that is pretty amazing.
It also is so good for your skin.
Number four, it’s amazing for beautiful skin because it contains collagen.
Now, collagen is an ingredient that’s in a lot of really expensive anti-aging creams and why go with the anti-aging creams that probably got a lot of, let’s face it, toxic, nasty chemicals in them?
Because they all do unless you’re very, very specific about where you go.
All you need to do is look on the back of the packet.
Type it into Google, the ingredients.
You’ll find out that, yes, you’re really expensive face cream does contain a lot of toxic ingredients which are actually harming your skin.
Why put these toxic ingredients on your skin?
Why not go directly to the source and get the collagen directly in your diet and heal from the inside out and get rid of those wrinkles and smooth out the skin, improve elasticity, it won’t come out very well, and tone to your skin?
Number five, it helps you to sleep better which is something that I have always suffered from insomnia and I’m addressing it at the moment with various different things.
That’s exciting for me.
Number six, it also helps to improve the bone health so your nails and your teeth get stronger, and I have definitely noticed this.
My nails have never felt stronger. My thumbnails, I can’t even bend them anymore.
They are so strong.
My teeth, I’ve had nothing but teeth problems for a very long time and they feel amazing.
They feel really glossy.
They’ve got a new condition on them.
They just feel out of this world amazing.
Finally, number seven, gelatin is amazing for improving your digestion.
I got diagnosed recently with celiac disease which means that I have had nothing but digestion problems lately.
If you’re anything like me, you’ve got IBS or any kind of digestive health problems, then gelatin will do your digestion wonders, absolute wonders.
It’s so, so good for you.
What are the best sources of gelatin?
Now, gelatin does come from animals but when you are consuming animal products, you have to be really, really careful that the animal is the healthiest animal that you can find because if you eat factory farmed animals that pump full of antibiotics, and nasties, and hormones, and horrible toxins, you will just get really bad health, the same health that the animal had, been locked up and fed all these chemicals and very unhappy their whole life.
If you are going to consume animal products, then you need to make sure that the animal that it came from led a healthy, happy life.
That means eating grass-fed animals that are out to pasture all day and they’re not fed all these horrible antibiotics, and hormones, and things.
You need to do your research.
I do have two brands here that I use for my powder gelatin.
If you’re going to use gelatin that comes straight from the meat, you need to make sure that the meat comes from animals that are grass-fed and out to pasture.
I make bone broth and I have my soup everyday that also contains bone broth which has loads of gelatin in that as well, and I make sure I buy grass-fed meat.
That is so, so important.

This particular brand, they do a red one and a green one.
The red one, if you add it to liquids, it produces like a jelly effect so you can make little jelly sweeties or jello sweeties, and I give these to my kids, and this gets the gelatin goodness into my kids, and they adore them.
They ask for them every single day. That’s the one that sets like a jelly.
Then there’s a green one. I’m experimenting with this one lately.
This one, I can’t read it. It’s actually in German here but on the Amazon it did tell me that this was grass-fed gelatin, so I’ll link to this so you can read all about it as well.
This one is slightly cheaper which is why I was experimenting with it.
This one, you can add it to liquid and it dissolves so it doesn’t create a jelly-like effect.
It dissolves and you can just drink it.
What I do is I just get a small glass, add two tablespoons of gelatin, a little tiny bit of water.
Mix it around until it dissolves.
Just drink it in one go because I don’t like the thought of it very much.
I just like to quickly consume it in that way but there’s plenty of other ways that you can use gelatin.
There’s so many recipes.
