I joined a gym!
I know most people join gyms and go a few times and give up – then they are left with a big bill at the end of it.
But I don’t want that to be me.
I know I will use my membership as I exercise pretty consistently most of the year.

I did actually set up a home gym in my garage this year and I was enjoying using that until November and then I stopped.
It was just too cold out there and I couldn’t bear it anymore.
Plus work got busy and I just kind of stopped exercising.
Which we all know is not good for your weight, your health or your spirit.
It was actually my husband’s idea to join a gym.
So I thought – that will be really nice to be able to do that together some of the time.
So we joined a pay as you go gym, and go for between 30-60 minutes a day, 5 days a week.
I can’t tell you how much better I feel now.
I love working out because it makes me feel strong, alive and motivated in so many other areas of my life.
It helps me stay determined to keep eating a healthy diet.
I am determined that this is the year I’m going to get my body into the best shape of my life.
