Over the past few years I discovered something that helps me get the most out of every day.
In the evening, I decide what I want to achieve the next day, and when I wake up the next morning I am focused and I know exactly what I want to achieve.
Then the following evening I sit down and review my day and write down whether I achieved my goals for that day. I then set my goals for tomorrow.
I call it my ‘daily wins’ system.

It really helps me to notice what achievements I have had during the day, because all too often, a whole day can go by and we don’t’ feel like we’ve achieved anything at all.
It works really well for work but it can also apply to your personal life too.
When we started deciding in advance what we were going to do over the weekend, we started waking up with purpose excited to go on a trip that day.
After the day, it’s a good feeling to know that you planned something fun and that you built memories with your kids.
Before we started doing that we would wake up on a Saturday with no purpose and often end up doing chores or shopping which none of us enjoy.
And the whole weekend would go by without us doing anything exciting.
Now it’s lovely to have something to look forward to at the weekend.
If you plan your meals for the whole week, in advance, you can look forward to something healthy and tasty.
And after the meal has been finished you can feel proud of yourself for sticking to a healthy eating plan that is helping you to feel better and get slimmer.
