Pretty crazy, right?

Although counting calories is not something that you would want to do for the rest of your life, I do think that writing down everything you eat and the number of calories it contains is a helpful exercise so you get a general sense of how many calories are in different foods.

The problem with processed foods is that our bodies don’t actually tell us that we’re full because we’re eating so many chemicals that leads to so many cravings that we just don’t know when we’ve had enough.

When you start eating more real food, you really start to notice when you’re full.

You just can’t binge on vegetables or fruit like you binge on chocolate or chips.

Your body just won’t let you.

We are just not designed to be eating chocolates and chips unfortunately, but we are designed for real food in its natural state.

Being aware of calories can help you make some smart decisions if you’re going to eat processed foods more often.

I do understand what it’s like.

We all have our favourite foods that we just don’t want to give up, but here is a suggestion for you.

Why not try finding or even making healthier versions of your favourite foods.
