Hello again! It’s that time again where we get to share the best vegan recipes and articles this week. Last week we had 61 entries which was amazing.
My new routines for my toddler are going down really well. I now sit with her for all her meals and eat 2 of my meals with her and it’s made the world of difference to her eating habits. She now hardly throws anything on the floor and he become a lot less fussy trying a wide range of food that she previously wouldn’t touch. We decided to continue following the French example laid down in this great book and get more strict with other aspects of our parenting too.
So I’m relieved that we’ve finally got her sleep sorted and for the last couple of weeks she’s been sleeping on her own in her own bed all evening and night mostly contentedly. This has been a massive weight off my mind that I can now have my new baby knowing that our evenings and nights are free to concentrate on feeding the new baby. I’ve still been feeling extremely low on energy but I’m going to stop going on about that now as I’m becoming like a broken record and will probably let you know if and when my energy finally picks up. I suspect it won’t be until after I’ve given birth now. In a way it can’t come soon enough as I want my nutrients back to myself and hopefully my energy back so I can cope a bit better with the sleepness nights to come.
Also don’t forget that I am giving away 3 downloads of Carrie’s Vegan Delish App. The deadline is Wednesday the 3rd April 2013 and all you have to do is comment on this post.

Despite the fact that I’m trying to save money, I need to keep reminding myself that it’s worth buying the dirty dozen organic if at all possible. This is such a funny way to remember this!

Mmmmm, yum. A great option for a weekend treat I think!

A great option for those of us without a juicer. Now why didn’t I think of this instead of adding lots of water to my green juices! I’m loving the frugal tights option!

Hi Katherine,I just wanted to tell you I completed the 7 day detox and I feel so great.
I have lost 6lbs, do not feel like I need more my morning coffee, the flushing of my facial skin from rosacea has dramatically reduced and I am so excited to wake up each morning and make a green thickie for breakfast!!
I am a stay at-home, homeschooling momma of 3 littles and at times so busy I would forget to feed myself!
I would go most of the day without eating and then snack on random things.
I gained 60 pounds the last 6 years during pregnancy.
I have lost 30lbs but recently plateaued and have felt so frustrated.
I’ve tried everything from paleo and keto to the point where I didn’t know what to eat or how much and felt like even eating fruit was bad for me which thankfully it’s not!
What a game changer for me. Thank you for sharing a simple but effective program.
I’m so excited to continue another week with this plan! Thankful Stephanie
