Can you accept your body?
Do you think everybody should accept their own bodies no matter what?
If you accept your body, does that mean it’s OK to be fat and stay fat?
These are some tough questions and no doubt you have a strong opinion on this subject.

Here is my own opinion.
I think that yes we should love our bodies no matter what the size. We should love the way they were created, to work perfectly, that everything inside our bodies was designed with such detail that we’ll never fully understand it.
So I think we should accept that our bodies are capable of working a lot better for us.
We should thank our bodies that they have kept us alive despite the punishment we have subjected them to, and therefore still have the ability to improve and perform better in the future.
But should we accept all the extra fat clinging to our bodies?
Should we love the fact that our bodies are not performing as they should be?
Should we thank our bodies for giving us pain, discomfort and tiredness day after day.
No, I don’t believe we should accept or love these things.
Our bodies are not supposed to have so much fat clinging to them, they aren’t supposed to make us feel bad and we don’t need to accept or love these things.
When I have extra fat on my body, I do not want to look in the mirror and be thankful for the way my body looks. I’m sorry, but I just don’t. I do not want to love my body looking like that.
And the reason is because I don’t believe that fat belongs to my body. It’s not supposed to be there.
I love the slim person inside my fat body trying to make it’s way out.
You might not agree with me, but deep down most of us feel the same way…
If we could accept our bodies the way they were, why would we be constantly trying to lose weight?
Do you think I should be preaching that we should all love our bodies and accept them the way they are?
For the good of your own health and the quality of your own life, I don’t want your body to stay the way it is. I want you to lose weight and have a body that works as it was supposed to work.
Don’t you?
So, after all that is said, what I don’t think is helpful is to call yourself names.
Stop looking in the mirror and telling yourself how disgusting you are. That’s not helping you either.
What will help you is to accept the truth – your body should be functioning as it was supposed to function and you are going to work on that every day, fueling your body with healthy food.
Keep telling your brain how proud you are that you resisted junk food every day.
Be proud of yourself, be thankful you still have the potential to improve your body, keep telling yourself good things every day because you are worth so much more.
But whatever you do – don’t accept the fact that you are sick and your body is out of shape.
Love your body enough to improve it.

Get results like this...
Hi Katherine,I just wanted to tell you I completed the 7 day detox and I feel so great.
I have lost 6lbs, do not feel like I need more my morning coffee, the flushing of my facial skin from rosacea has dramatically reduced and I am so excited to wake up each morning and make a green thickie for breakfast!!
I am a stay at-home, homeschooling momma of 3 littles and at times so busy I would forget to feed myself!
I would go most of the day without eating and then snack on random things.
I gained 60 pounds the last 6 years during pregnancy.
I have lost 30lbs but recently plateaued and have felt so frustrated.
I’ve tried everything from paleo and keto to the point where I didn’t know what to eat or how much and felt like even eating fruit was bad for me which thankfully it’s not!
What a game changer for me. Thank you for sharing a simple but effective program.
I’m so excited to continue another week with this plan! Thankful Stephanie

I think body acceptance from others is important too. For years, I resisted loosing weight because I couldn’t stand the idea of someone else congratulating themselves for bullying me into loosing weight. I know it’s a stupid reason to refuse to loose weight, but it was a barrier for a long time and something that I had to deal with before I could even make the decision to try.

Yes I agree with this too.
