We all like to relax at the weekend, watch some TV, indulge a little bit. Does that sound about right? Did you know that studies have shown that you actually eat 69 percent more food when you eat in front of the TV? Here’s another interesting fact. It also matter what you watch on the TV as to how much extra you eat. People who watch Hollywood action films ate 65 percent more than those people who watched other things, such as interviews. Pretty shocking if you ask me.
I’m Katherine Kyle, and after ballooning up five dress sizes and having to quit my job because I was so sick, I found a long-term solution. By drinking green smoothies I was able to become as slim as I was as a teenager and feel more alive than I’d ever felt in my life. Now I help thousands of people do the same.
If eating in front of the TV makes you gain so much weight then we should avoid it completely, right?
Well, I love to eat a treat in front of the TV as much as the next person, and this is actually my own personal downfall when it comes to my own weight.
So many times I have down so healthy during the week,
I’ve lost a few pounds and then I have sat in front of the TV and just indulged in chocolate, and before I’d know it I’ve eaten a whole box, a whole bar and then all the weight that I lost during that week has gone right back on again. This is something that I’m definitely working on myself, but I’ve been doing a lot of research and I have found something that works just as well. I do actually have three delicious foods that you can eat in front of the TV and they won’t make an impact on your ability to lose weight.
Because something we just need something to do with our hands. I find it really hard to just sit in front of TV and just sit there motionless. I kind of like to be doing something. I don’t like so much passive entertainment. I guess that’s why people play video games and stuff, because they can actually take part, and maybe we take part by eating food. Anyway, I have found three foods that you can munch on and still have your indulgence in front of the TV, but you’re not going to pile on all that weight by eating junk food.
I am going to share all three foods with you during my challenge, which has actually started today. I’ve got so much more to share with you during video one of my challenge. Now, my new challenge is called Clean Eating In A Hurry. Hi Katherine,I just wanted to tell you I completed the 7 day detox and I feel so great.
I have lost 6lbs, do not feel like I need more my morning coffee, the flushing of my facial skin from rosacea has dramatically reduced and I am so excited to wake up each morning and make a green thickie for breakfast!!
I am a stay at-home, homeschooling momma of 3 littles and at times so busy I would forget to feed myself!
I would go most of the day without eating and then snack on random things.
I gained 60 pounds the last 6 years during pregnancy.
I have lost 30lbs but recently plateaued and have felt so frustrated.
I’ve tried everything from paleo and keto to the point where I didn’t know what to eat or how much and felt like even eating fruit was bad for me which thankfully it’s not!
What a game changer for me. Thank you for sharing a simple but effective program.
I’m so excited to continue another week with this plan! Thankful Stephanie
