Are you a life changer or a short changer?
What on earth am I talking about?
These are my definitions to describe some of my clients.
Some of the people who contact me through Green Thickies are what I’d call short changers.
They are trying to do the right thing, and they know they need to lose weight and improve their health.
They are often looking for that magic bullet.
The pill that they can take on a magic drink that’s just going to take all their weight off them without any effort at all.
They go searching for blog posts that promise fast results.
Some of my blog posts that share my story, people get really excited about them.
Very often, unfortunately, they just never get started.
These people, they will download the recipes to their computer and maybe print them out or perhaps,they might even make one or two recipes.
They might actually try one recipe for a few days, and then jump on the scales and realise that they haven’t lost any weight at all because they’re still eating all the junk food as normal and probably more of it because they want to prove it wrong.
They send me an email saying something like, “I tried the Green Thickies, and they didn’t work for me.
I’m so unhappy.
I wasted my money buying all these ingredients for the Green Thickies.
What a scam.
They didn’t work for me. I’m not happy and I’m not going to do these Green Thickies anymore.”
These people are angry and bitter.
They feel like they’re being short changed.
They feel like this because they never really expected to change anything.
They just weren’t ready for a change.
These people are what I call the short changers.
There’s the life changers.
These are my very favourite people to work with because these are people who have had enough of health problems.
They’ve had enough of looking frumpy.
They’ve had enough of not living their life to the full and had enough of dragging themselves through everyday.
These are people who are determined that now is the time.
It’s now or never.
They are determined to make a complete life transformation.
They’ll do whatever it takes, not give up.
They’ll follow instructions.
They’ll seek help.
They’ll grab life by the horns.
These are the life transformers.
