A lot of people get so desperate to lose weight that they end up purchasing these diet shakes that are not only very expensive, but may actually end up making them sick.
So many people have no idea that there is even an ingredients list on their “food”, and if they did, they wouldn’t have a clue how to read it.

Well, I’m here to encourage you to take a peek today, because I want you to care about your health. I want you to rid yourself of health problems, heal your body and reset your health back to it’s natural state of being able to metabolize (real) food again properly, so you can actually lose weight.

Not only are they expensive, but they are also ladened with refined sugar which spikes the blood sugar level.
The body doesn’t know what to do with a cocktail of chemicals and starts to go into starvation mode – and that puts you into a state where you can’t lose any weight despite dropping your daily calorie count to a dangerously low level.

Check out this ingredients list which is pretty typical for most diet shakes.
You probably will have no idea what most of these ingredients are, but I will highlight a few for you below.
Soy Protein Isolate
Soy protein isolate is the very first ingredient which means that it is the largest quantity in this drink. This is genetically modified soy which is high in phytic acid, which blocks mineral absorption. It’s rich in phytoestrogens, that mimic estrogen in the body, and have been linked to cancer.
This is an artificial sweetener because it’s chemically modified. Sucralose is chlorinated and destroys beneficial gut bacteria. It also impairs the immune function and promotes obesity. Not exactly what you want in a diet shake is it?
Canola oil is a heavily processed rancid industrial oil. It is extracted with a neurotoxin called hexane, then it is bleached, deodorized and undergoes many other types of processing. Is this something you want to be eating? Me neither!
There is also the potential that this ingredients list contains MSGs but it is impossible to tell because MSGs are allowed to hide under the names artificial flavourings, yeast extract, natural flavours, maltodextrin, and corn syrup.
Yes I was pretty shocked about this too!
And besides all the things that I haven’t mentioned because I could write a book about it, this product contains dairy and gluten which stop a lot of people healing and reaching their ideal weight.
