I love reading other people’s morning routines, don’t you?
A nosey into other’s lives is always fun.
People can tell you what they do in a blog post to lose weight or to make healthy living easier, but sometimes the pieces don’t seem to fit together until you learn how they actually make it happen in their actual life.
So I thought you might like a peek inside my life?

OK here goes.
My morning routine
I wake up and get the kids ready for nursery.
Then I do a workout which either involves going for a run/walk outside for 30 minutes or some weight training with my dumbbells – or both if I have more time.

Then I head into the kitchen to take my vitamins and make my juice.
I make a glass of celery juice which I always take on an empty stomach for good digestion.
Then I take all my supplements with a glass of water with a 4-5 drops of either lemon or grapefruit essential oil (therapeutic grade only – I use Young Living).
Now it’s time for the powders.
I mix up my green powders with a little bit of water and drink those. I only take the powders that I don’t like the taste of, so I don’t add them to my delicious smoothies or they would spoil them.
I take 1 heaped teaspoon of barley grass, 1 heaped teaspoon of wheatgrass and 1 heaped teaspoon of spirulina powder. Sometimes I also add 1 teaspoon of wild blueberry powder and 1 teaspoon of maca for additional energy. Occasionally I have 1 heaped teaspoon of matcha green tea powder when I’m not drinking it during the day. (mostly I’m drinking green tea as the weather is cold here) I also take my collagen in the same way. I take 2 tablespoons mixed with a small amount of water.
I then eat half a brazil nut for my daily dose of selenium, and I have a double shot of Ningxia Red which is an amazing goji berry juice that has done wonders for my health.
After all this I feel amazing, and surprisingly I don’t feel hungry at all until lunch time due to all this nutritious natural foods which are also natural appetite suppressants.
I go and get ready, and I apply my essential oils to my feet before I put on my socks. I usually use En-R-Gee on my feet for extra energy, Thieves in the winter for my immune system, Joy on my wrists because it smells beautiful and makes me happy, and some peppermint or Di-Gize on my stomach for good digestion.
I then start work in my home office, walking on my treadmill as I write my blog posts for you.
I often add essential oils to my diffuser too and inhale fresh peppermint to give me more clarity as I work. Or I use essential oils that are good for the immune system in winter.
So I actually drink my first Green Thickie around lunch time. I have already made this the night before so I just grab it and continue with my work.
Yes I take so many supplements that I probably rattle – but when you have previously been as sick as I was, you’d do pretty much anything to continue to feel amazing and full of energy. To me – you can’t put a price on health!

All I can say is I continue to feel amazing all year round with this regime. It works for me!
