Today I’m showing you the best blendtec blender that I use every day in my kitchen. I’ve had the chance to make green smoothies and meal replacement shakes with many different blenders. Some outperform others, but one blender stands out the most.
As you know, with a regular blender, especially when using leafy ingredients like when you have to do with spinach recipes, you have to add a significant amount of extra liquid to give an ordinary mixer the ability to create its vortex, with which it pulls the fruits and veggies into the blades.
I’ve discovered a premium smoothie blender that can mix just about anything, even hard ingredients, without having to make special accommodations.
For excellent protein shakes and more, the Blendtec Designer 625 is a superb piece of equipment that looks stunning and performs amazingly.

Between the two leading blender brands on the market, Blendtec and Vitamix, Blendtec proves to be the better choice. You get similar, if not the same, results from both professional-grade blender models but in terms of hi-tech innovation, thoughtful design, and motor horsepower, Blendtec surpasses its contender.

The Features Of The Designer 625
Blendtec is known for making blenders that deliver a ton of power in their professional and commercial mixers.
If you’re familiar with the Total blender, you’ll be happy to know the Designer 625 has the same motor, which is one of the most attractive features of the spectacular mixer.
Besides having a similar motor to the Blendtec classic, the Designer 625 has a lot of superior innovations.
For example, the blender has a better airflow design that’s perfect for improved cooling of the motor and also greater motor control with a broad range of speeds.
Two other incredible features are the blender’s digital touchscreen controls and sleek build.
Blendtec has always been the most innovative in the market for blender technology. They are the first to introduce blending programs and touchscreen operation.
Many of the Blendtec features were first intended for the blender’s use in smoothie shops or other commercial blending environments.
That’s another great thing about the Designer 625; it’s a commercial grade for home use.
You can use the digital slider to choose from six-speed settings. There are also four pre-programmed cycles if you want hands-off blending, which are Hot Soup, Smoothie, Whole Juice, and Ice Cream.
Some users of Vitamix blenders like to use the toggle switch and dial controls. The interface of the Designer 625 may be more appealing to other users who prefer something a little more hi-tech.
The illuminated LCD screen also displays the blending time when using a blending program.
The patented blade of the Designer 625 can puree anything. The blender comes with the Blendtec Wildside+ Jar, which has a ventilated lid to permit steam to exit while preparing hot soups.
The jar is BPA-free and dishwasher-safe.
The blender is aesthetically pleasing, and you’ll want to keep it out on the cabinet for display.
You have to admit, many of the other mixers on the market, especially older models, can be an eyesore and you want to hide it in the cabinet when it’s not in use.
There are beautiful color options available. You can get the Blendtec in Polar White, Black, Slate Gray, Red, Orchid, Sea Foam, and Chartreuse.
The rubber feet of the base elevates the blender and gives it a grip on the counter and also lets air move through the bottom so the motor can stay cool.
Another remarkable aspect of the Designer 625 mixer is its user-friendliness. The blender may perform at a commercial level, but you don’t have to be a master top chef to operate it.

Preparing Foods With The Designer 625
When making smoothies, the Designer 625 won’t over process your ingredients. The ingredients you put in the jar will get blended quickly and efficiently.
The only difference between the Designer 625 and the Vitamix blender, when it comes down to smoothie preparation, is that while the Blendtec will give a comparable smooth consistency, the output may be thicker.
You’ll enjoy the Green Thickies made with this device.
If you ever want to prepare soup, the Designer 625 will deliver a creamy texture without any leftover pulp.
Frozen drinks are also a simple task with the blender. It’s excellent for well-blended ice textures, such as snow cones, frozen yogurt, fruit sorbet, or ice cream.

More Differences Between Vitamix Vs. Blendtec
You can get this Blendtec with different jars, like the Four Side and the Twister jar. Featured in this article is the Designer with the WildSide+ jar.
Compared to Vitamix, Blendtec has always considered the standard cabinet height and designed the blender so it could easily fit under kitchen cabinets.
You probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference from a smoothie blended in a Vitamix or Blendtec because they both have the power to mix extraordinarily well.
However, the Designer 625 has a slight advantage as it is rated at three-peak horsepower, whereas Vitamix offers only two-peak, except for Next Generation models which estimate at 2.2-peak horsepower.
As far as pricing, you should expect to pay a pretty penny for the Designer blender. Vitamix and Blendtec are expensive, but for the cheapest high-performance device out of the two professional-grade models, Blendtec has better options.
Vitamix is a worthy contender to Blendtec, but out of the two leading blenders on the market, the Designer 625 is the model you should not be without in your kitchen.

Hi Katherine,I just wanted to tell you I completed the 7 day detox and I feel so great.
I have lost 6lbs, do not feel like I need more my morning coffee, the flushing of my facial skin from rosacea has dramatically reduced and I am so excited to wake up each morning and make a green thickie for breakfast!!
I am a stay at-home, homeschooling momma of 3 littles and at times so busy I would forget to feed myself!
I would go most of the day without eating and then snack on random things.
I gained 60 pounds the last 6 years during pregnancy.
I have lost 30lbs but recently plateaued and have felt so frustrated.
I’ve tried everything from paleo and keto to the point where I didn’t know what to eat or how much and felt like even eating fruit was bad for me which thankfully it’s not!
What a game changer for me. Thank you for sharing a simple but effective program.
I’m so excited to continue another week with this plan! Thankful Stephanie
