#1 Whole Foods Help You Burn More Calories

A recent study took two groups of people and fed one group processed junk food and the other group healthy whole food and then they measured them.

They actually found that the people eating the whole food burned twice as many calories digesting and metabolising the food as the people who ate the junk food.

If you’ve ever wondered why you can’t lose weight despite sticking to the correct number of calories, then this might be one of the reasons.

#2 Junk Food Can Destroy Your Brain

This is much more shocking.

Did you know that junk food can actually destroy your brain?

One study got healthy people to eat junk food for just five days, and they noticed that they were a lot more moody, they had impaired memory, and their reaction time significantly slowed down.

Another study showed that eating too much junk food causes a big increase in insulin in the body, which actually increases our risk of dementia.

That’s pretty terrifying enough to make me want to try extra hard to avoid junk food.
