3 Reasons Why Your Diet Is Failing YouIt’s that time of year when we all start dieting!  Before starting another diet, I want to share 3 reasons why traditional diets do not work and share my own effective solution.

 

 

Are you currently on a diet or are you planning to start another diet very soon?

Before you start another diet, I want to give you three reasons why your diet is failing you and give you another solution.

Here are three reasons why your diet is failing you.

1) It is a processed food diet.

If you are going to the shop and buying these calorie-counted ready-meals that are made in advance, then this is my definition of processed, unhealthy junk food, because there’s no nutrients left in that food whatsoever, and your body is going to be suffering as a result.

You’re not going to be getting the nutrients that your body needs.

It’s actually going to cause your body to retain the weight.

You’re not going to digest and use enough calories to digest your food as you would do if it was real, healthy, wholesome food.

The very fact that it’s processed is causing your body harm.

If you feel like rubbish on your diet, then you’re not going to be motivated to continue to do it.

You’re just swapping one type of junk food for another if you just go from junk food ready-meals to junk food chocolate and desserts and things.

You’re not going to feel that much different.

That’s one reason you might be completely unmotivated, because you’re just not feeling great on it.

2) It’s expensive.

It’s very expensive to buy processed diet food.

Diet food is a moneymaking industry that’s designed to get you to fall for the marketing hype that’s on the front of the packages saying, “Low fat, low calorie, low sugar, no sugar, no fat,” all these messages that make your brain think, “Oh, this is going to make me slim and healthy.”

It’s not, unfortunately.

All it’s doing is designed to make them money, and that’s the only thing.

Then, when you’ve been on these diets for, say, a month, you suddenly realise, “I am spending an absolute fortune on this food, this special diet food, that I can’t actually budget for this any longer, so I’m just going to go back to eating whatever I was eating before because it’s a lot cheaper.”

3) It is unsustainable, because you can’t eat as a family.

If you have a family or you’re trying to eat with other people socially, then trying to eat diet food, it makes you look very unsociable.

You don’t feel like you’re a good role model for your kids because …

Let’s face it, if you don’t want your kids to eat diet food, then you shouldn’t really be eating it either, because you know deep down that it’s not good for you, and if it’s not something you would give to your kids, then don’t give it to yourself.

Put yourself first and put your health first and eat food that everybody can enjoy together, real, healthy, wholesome food.

That’s what everybody can eat together, and that’s the very best thing for helping you to lose weight and feel really, really good as well.
