We can all easily lose a few pounds on a detox…
But is it possible to lose 50 pounds in 6 months?
I answer this question today.
The festive season is approaching and for a lot of people that means office parties and little black dresses.

Does the thought of having to squeeze into that dress that’s a little bit tight, send shivers down your spine?
Seeing as I work for myself from home now, I never have to go to office parties anymore, which I don’t really feel like I’m missing out on as I’m not really one for big parties.

I told him that I am currently working on losing weight and that I am putting a serious effort into changing my eating habits.
I see him again in 6 months and my goal is to lose 50 lbs by then.
Is it possible? Or should I start the medication.
I can use as much support as I can get.”
Here’s my answer…
I believe it’s absolutely possible to lose 50 pounds in 6 months.
I lost the majority of my 56 pounds in 4 months and all of it within 6 months. (The last few pounds take a lot longer to lose, but you won’t mind as you’ll already be very slim by then.)
When it comes to losing weight, it’s often not a case of ‘is it possible’. A better question to ask would be, how motivated am I?
Let me tell you I was very motivated to lose weight because my health and my life depended on it. It wasn’t all about squeezing into that little black dress.
It was about getting my life back, being able to have kids and work again.
So if health is your motivation, that’s a good strong reason why you are going to stick to this.
Squeezing into that little black dress can really motivate some people, but for most of us, health is more of a motivation than fitting into a dress.
Yes it’s possible, yes you can do it, but the question is ‘will you stick it out for 6 months?’
