I was chatting with a new friend who is really into meditation, and she persuaded me to give it a go again. To be honest with you, I’ve never been able to get into meditation because I’ve never been able to stop my mind from wandering. But I tried her meditation which is based on breathing and I wasn’t able to think about anything else but my breathing. Also something pretty strange happened, and I will share more about this at a later date.
But lately I have been getting into conscious breathing in a big big way. I’m doing my own experiments and research so that I can share more about this with you in the future.

I am not a fan of low carb diets so I believe smoothies should contain carbs, but the healthy kind which are good for energy. A lot of fruits contain carbs and as I believe fruit is nature’s perfect food, I believe that we were also intended to eat carbs (the right type, not bagels, doughnuts and cookies).
Good fats are extremely important for good health and happy hormones. Fats also satiate us and make us feel happy and full until our next meal. They also provide creaminess that comes from healthy fat sources such as nuts, seeds or coconut.
And last but not least, the smoothie should be tasty, because without eating tasty food, we will not enjoy our meals and will crave something more tasty. So taste to me is very important.
