There’s something that is stopping you achieving your goals.
It’s between your ears.
Your brain is the problem here.
Today I’m going to show you how you can reprogram your thoughts from failure thoughts to success thoughts.

I have an experiment I’d like you to do today.
Are you willing to give it a try?
I think you will love it…
I would like you to go through the whole day and notice what thoughts you tell yourself around food. Really pay attention.
Now get a piece of paper and draw a line down the centre. On the left hand side write down all your thoughts that you had about food. Most of these will be failure thoughts. They aren’t helping you reach your goals.
On the right hand side, write down a brand new thought that is the opposite of the failure thought. These are your success thoughts.
Now tomorrow, go through your day and try and notice again when you have failure thoughts and try to replace them with success thoughts.
This will be hard at first but it does get easier over time. The more you practice this, the more you will reprogram your brain for success.
Here is an example. These are some of my own failure and success thoughts:
|Everything in moderation
|I will eat the foods that will help me reach my goal and avoid everything else.
|I can have one bite of chocolate.
|I will avoid chocolate completely because I know I can’t stop at one bite.
|A few extra snacks won’t hurt
|If I eat when I’m not hungry, I will gain weight. A few extra snacks is the difference between success and failure.
|I want to eat what I want when I want and nobody is going to stop me.
|I need to stop acting like a child and start to recognise that achieving my goals takes effort.
|I can’t enjoy myself on a diet.
|I can still enjoy meals out if I try and stick as closely as I can to food that lead me to success.
