Today I’m sharing the best vegan protein powders on the market this year. These protein powders are the healthiest and most natural sources of protein you can find.
Before looking at my recommendations, I want to take a minute to mention the following about protein powders.
The truth of the matter is that although protein can be beneficial to a healthy diet, we don’t need as much protein as most of us have been led to believe we do. Wrap your head around that for a second.
Most of the commercial protein powders have artificial flavors, stabilizers, and thickeners, like guar gum, vegetable oils, and fillers, and a nice long list of other unhealthy ingredients.
Don’t be fooled by the claims of having natural flavoring.

Adopting a diet with whole foods can supply your body with all the protein you need, without having to use protein powder.
However, plant-based proteins are a better alternative to a supplement of processed proteins.
Even though many people consume way too much protein, that doesn’t mean that protein doesn’t remain an essential part of eating well, especially in the morning.
It balances your blood sugar during the entire day. Protein also anchors your circadian rhythm, also known as the 24-hour sleep/wake cycle that runs in the background of your brain.
They don’t call it “powerful protein” for nothing.
Vegan protein powder is an easy way to supplement along with nonessential and essential amino acids.
At the same time, they make it easy to fit in a healthy and satisfying meal each day, if you are trying to improve your overall health or lose weight.
The invaluable vitamins and nutrients in some protein powders also help to promote better digestion and improve your body’s ability to handle stress better.
I’ve discovered that most people — particularly those who have thyroid problems or other hormone imbalances — do extremely well using a vegan or plant-based protein powder.
They are effective alternatives to whey protein, without the adverse side effects that usually occur with protein powders derived from dairy.
I will review some prime vegan protein powders that are worth considering.
Later on, I’ll share with you how to make homemade protein powders using my minimal ingredient recipe with only plant-based protein sources.
So, now that all that is out of the way, you’re probably eager to read my protein powder picks for 2019.
Without further delay, here are my reviews. By the way, I list the products in a random order; they all have equal quality.

And if you don’t want to fork out the money to buy a vegan protein powder, why not try making your own?
Seeing as I’m into whole foods, I don’t see the point in buying protein powders when it is healthier and cheaper for me to just make my own.
Here is my 2 Ingredient Homemade Protein Powder Recipe which you can make yourself in just minutes using a smoothie blender. This is also a raw vegan protein powder. I have a video showing you just how easy it is.
I am also into bodybuilding so I do keep an eye on my protein levels to make sure I’m getting enough. But quality is always more important to me than quantity.
The right protein powders can help you supplement but nothing compares to getting your nutrition from whole foods. I hope the powders discussed here and my unique recipe help you achieve your weight loss and health goals by making healthy protein shakes.

Get results like this...Hi Katherine,
I just wanted to tell you I completed the 7 day detox and I feel so great.
I have lost 6lbs, do not feel like I need more my morning coffee, the flushing of my facial skin from rosacea has dramatically reduced and I am so excited to wake up each morning and make a green thickie for breakfast!!
I am a stay at-home, homeschooling momma of 3 littles and at times so busy I would forget to feed myself!
I would go most of the day without eating and then snack on random things.
I gained 60 pounds the last 6 years during pregnancy.
I have lost 30lbs but recently plateaued and have felt so frustrated.
I’ve tried everything from paleo and keto to the point where I didn’t know what to eat or how much and felt like even eating fruit was bad for me which thankfully it’s not!
What a game changer for me. Thank you for sharing a simple but effective program.
I’m so excited to continue another week with this plan! Thankful Stephanie
